How does one measure success? Is it by how much money you make? How much you have accomplished in your lifetime? How fast you can run a race? Or how much weight you can lift? Everyone seems to have a different definition for measuring success. As Booker T. Washington once said “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome. “
Yes, it is true that making a lot of money, having many accomplishments, running a race in record time and lifting hundreds of pounds are all wonderful accomplishments. They indeed do require the passing of many obstacles to achieve a final goal. But history proves the most successful people do not brag about how much money they have, or how good they are at something. This is an obstacle that many people who want to successful may have yet to conquer, or may never conquer.
At Ultima Fitness we try to help all of our members to be as successful as they can be when it comes to fitness and becoming a healthier person. We realize that there may be many obstacles in the way that are trying to prevent us from living a healthy lifestyle. America is filled with fast food, television and unhealthy lifestyles, these are merely obstacles we must overcome to live the healthy life that we deserve.
There is much truth in what Booker T. Washington had to say. No matter how high of a position a person may have reached in life, someone in a lower position who has overcome more obstacles can be just as successful. It is also very possible for us to avoid the unhealthy lifestyles that are trying to lure us in, although these obstacles may seem tempting at times, we must stay strong and keep striving to succeed and achieve the success that we so desire.

My success is I CAN FINALLY shop for clothes off the rack!! When I was at my heaviest 287 lbs I found it VERY hard to go shopping for clothes. I was BIG. My clothes were BIG. Shopping was not fun. Well I did 2 rounds of BCX and also continued to go to the gym regulaly after BCX and now I can shop anywhere. Im down to 240 lbs and im still going down in weight. Before ultima and BCX I was a memeber at another gym but I had no motivation. My Wife natalynn convinced me to try the BCX program and I liked it. I then canceled my membership at the other gym and joined Ultima. Ultima/BCX saved me!!! Im not a coach potato anymore and look forward to building a better body.
