John Durante

Personal Trainer personaltrainer@ultimafitness.com

IFA Certified Personal Trainer

Born and raised in the Philippine Islands, John moved to the US at the age of 14.  All throughout his childhood, he was always involved with sports including martial arts, soccer and basketball. Being the competitive type, John often looked for ways to stay ahead of the game and strived to develop that edge over the others.  Leaning towards the belief that more muscles could lead to better athletic performance, John started a bodybuilding program.  After realizing the challenges involved in transforming ones’ physique, John was captivated by the bodybuilding lifestyle. Eight years and seventy pounds of muscle later, John considers himself to be a full-time (almost!) bodybuilder.  He has three amateur bodybuilding titles to his credit and hopes to achieve what every amateur dreams of, a Pro Card.

If you find yourself confused or at a loss in this journey called life, take control of one important aspect:  give it your all and everything else will fall into place.  Dedicating oneself to the fitness lifestyle certainly has its unique rewards.  But it certainly does not come without a price. Sacrifices will have to be made and relationships may be affected, for better or worse!  In the end it all boils down to one thing: quality of life.
